The Haitians dominated the match, winning by a 6-1 margin. Jamaica also came out ahead of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines by a 2-0 margin as both winners look to go through to the final round. </p>

The final score spoke volumes, 9-0, as the Trinis manhandled the Dominican Republic at home. The match saw Trinidad sporting the depth they had at their disposal as they welcomed back Dwight Yorke, Chris Burchall and Carlos Edwards into the lineup. Trinidad now sits second in the group on 4 points, tied with Guatemala. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img style="max-width: 800px;" src="http://www.usavolleyball.org/Media/images/2007/110907TomAttack.jpg" align="left" height="151" hspace="10" width="85" />The Women&#8217;s Volleyball team from the Dominican Republic went down 3-0 to the US in the FIVB World Grand Prix Pool E action at Wroclaw in Poland. The team was swept 25-13, 25-21,25-20 on June 28, 2008. Team USA is now 4-1 overall in the World Grand Prix with four consecutive victories.</p>
<p><i>&#8220;We actually prepared for a difficult, five set match&#8221;,</i> said US Coach Jenny Lang Ping <i>&#8220;Dominican Republic is a good team. They got the qualification and they won the 2008 Pan American Cup. They play very well.&#8221; </i></p>
<p>From the US team, Kim Glass won the most valuable player awarded after scoring 14 points off 8 kills. </p>

Sanchez ran a season&#8217;s best 48.01s to cop the medal ahead of Marek Plawgo of Poland 48.12s and behind Trinidadian born Kerron Clement 47.61s who now runs for the USA. </p>
