Ryan Braithwaite continued to prove Caribbean form by winning a nail bighter of a finish in the 110M Hurdles at the World Championships. One one hundredth of a second was the difference between first and second as Braithwaite set a new National Record to sit atop the podium ahead of the Americans Payne and Tremell. The Caribbean was also represented by Maurice Wignall and Dwight Thomas in the final. The end result was as follows:
