Javier Culson was the toast of the Caribbean when he split the American dominance in the 400M Hurdles to cop the silver medal. A spirited run by Culson saw him putting out a personal best as well as a national record when he clocked 48.09s in the event.
Young Jehue Gordon showed maturity beyond his years as he clocked in a personal best of 48.26s, a new national record, to place fourth in the recently concluded 400M at the World Championships in Berlin. Gordon who was just pipped on the line by Bershawn Jackson, beat the likes of Felix Sanchez of the Dominican Republic and Danny McFarlane of Jamaica, a previous Olympic Silver medalist.
