Chris Birchall to make the move to Galaxy?

Trinidadian midfielder and former Coventry City player Chris Birchall is rumored to be in the advanced stages of negotiations to head over to the Los Angeles Galaxy. Speaking to Birchall, the deal could go through as early as July and he’s excited about the prospects of the move.

"It’s definitely a great opportunity for me and one of the considerations I’ve given to the move is that it could have a better effect on my international career because it means I’m a bit closer to T&T and that can help for when they need me for international games," said Birchall

On the possibility of him playing alongside David Beckham in LA, Birchall told BBC Stoke: "From what I’m hearing, Beckham will be back in July.
