Former cricketer Nehemiah Perry is the 2008 recipient of the Courtney Andrew Walsh Award for Excellence. At aa reception attended by the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Bruce Golding, Perry accepted the award from him which included a trophy and a $500,000 cash prize.
“This is the best thing that has every happened to me…” said Perry, “I would represent my country all over again”
