Veronica Campbell wins 100M at Reebok Grand Prix

Veronica Campbell-Brown posted her fastest time this season to register a resounding win against her rival Lauryn Williams in the 100M. Campbell-Brown was competing in the Reebok Grand Prix event in New York and was only really troubled by another American Marshevet Hooker. Though false starting once, and slow out of the blocks, Campbell-Brown powered home to a world leading 10.91s.
“I’m running good,” Campbell-Brown said. “My object is to run faster than I did last year. I accomplished that and I’m happy.”
