Grenada Classic Yacht Regatta counted a success

Despite the fact that only 5 yachts turned out for the event, the organizers of Grenada’s Classic Yacht Regatta are pleased with the outcome of the event. The yachts sailed from Port Louis to St. David’s with Thalia being declared the overall winner.
Kenny Coombs, the organizer who orchestrated Antigua Classics, remembers that in the outset of the Antiguan event no more than 6 or 7 yachts participated. As adviser to Grenadian James Benoit, he said the regatta went pretty smoothly and the sailors had a lot of fun. The next Grenada Classic Yacht Regatta will be held from February 19 until February 22, 2009.
