It was a sad state of affairs for the Guineans after they were sent packing in a six wicket defeat to the young West Indies team. Both teams were contending for a place in the Plate Final of the ICC Youth World Cup. Chasing a modest target of 90 runs for victory, the West Indians met that target with 207 balls to spare. Of note was Kieran Powell’s knock of 37 where he was scoring at a run a ball rate. The West Indians will now face India int he final. Read more about that here.
