Wavell Hinds and Xavier Marshall went all out smashing an unbeaten 50 and 49 respectively to lead Jamaica to a win on the third day of their third round match at Sabina Park. With homeground advantage, the Jamaicans ploughed ahead dismissing Guyana first for 177 in their second innings prior to tea with Odean Brown shining with his 3 wickets for 35 runs from 16 overs. With that stage set and the Jamaicans needing 109 for victory, the Jamaicans charged to victory with Hinds and Marshall making that impressive stand. Jamaica now stands top of the table and await next month’s match between itself and Trinidad at Port of Spain.
