T&T to host Caribbean Games 2009

With a commitment from Cuba to send a contingent to the inaugural Caribbean Games, the effort is shaping up to be one of the better sporting extravaganza’s the region has seen. CEO Felipe Noguera says that T&T will be in for a treat. The games are expected to host some 2000 athletes from 27 countries in the English, Spanish, French and Dutch speaking Caribbean. Boxing, netball, swimming, track and field and volleyball are all on the roster to be featured at the games.
