Malone gets scholarship to University of Texas

The British Virgin Island’s first CARIFTA gold medalist is set to receive a full athletic scholarship to NCAA Division I powerhouse, University of Texas. Malone, who wants to be a pediatrician, opted for UT after a recruiting visit.
“I love the campus and they have a great med program. They also have a great training facility” says Malone.
Malone holds the National Triple Jump record, the National Junior 400m record, and the National Long Jump Youth Record.
