Barnes hails Caribbean as untapped talent

Discipline, attitude and opportunity are all former England and Liverpool star John Barnes says the Caribbean youth need in order to excel in the soccer arena. With this in mind Barnes has formed a partnership with England Premier League team Sunderland and Digicel to highlight Caribbean Soccer Talent.
The Digicel Kick Start clinic will roll around the Caribbean and choose six talented under 20 players for a week long training stint with the Sunderland Academy. Barnes held his first session on Monday in Georgetown and feels it should be an exciting endeavor. He’s already had the endorsement of FIFA vice president Jack Warner and the Sunderland team.
