Jamaica cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win over Guatemala in another friendly at the Jamaican National Stadium on Wednesday. Under interim coach Theodore Whitmore, a former Reggae Boy, Jamaica registered yet another win, a precious commodity in recent history as they are crawling back from their lowest ever placing in the FIFA rankings. Jamaica played beautiful, attacking football and the efforts paid off in the tenth minute when defenders failed to clear a ball which fell in the path of forward Ricardo Fuller who slotted it past the keeper. The attack again bore fruit in the 22nd minute when Omar Daley made an inspired run that shook three defenders in the process before shunting it past the keeper. After slipping from 68th to 103rd in the FIFA rankings and a disastrous 2007 campaign this is a welcome close to their season.
