Horace Burrell new JFF head

It’s long been known that this day would come but it is finally here. Captain Horace Burrell was nominated unopposed to replace Crenston Boxhill as president of the Jamaica Football Federation. Captain Burrell in his inaugural speech bemoaned the current state of football in Jamaica and announced a sweeping set of changes for the national program:
- A coaching development program
- referee development program
- administrative reform
- playing facility improvements
- National Premiere League development
- a special youth development program
- a football academy
- a focus on World Cup 2010 and beyond
