Powell wins 200M

In a surprising card switch, Jamaica’s Asafa Powell participated in the 200M at the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix and won the event. He won going away from the crowd in a comfortable 20s. American Rodney Martin was second in 20.29 and fellow Jamaican Christopher Wiliams third in 20.39s. In a surprising twist, American World Champion Tyson Gay could only manage second to fellow American Wallace Spearmon. Powell was not slated to participate in the event. Read more about it here.
