CFU U15 defending champs forfeit!

Jamaica, the defending Caribbean Footbal Union’s Under 15 Cup champions will have to forfeit their title after last ditch efforts by the Jamaica Football Federation to get emergency visa appointments failed.
The tournament is scheduled to get underway in Trinidad on August 18, but the squad is effectively grounded as 13 out of the 22 members of the squad have no US visas. Initially the squad was expected to fly directly via Caribbean Airlines but lost their seats for lack of confirmation. Subsequent routes take them through the US but the squad was unable to secure visas to allow for same.
