For those of you who don’t follow Formula One motor racing, F1 added it’s first ever black driver, Lewis Hamilton from Britain. You might be wondering, why is this worthy of note on Windies Sports? His paternal grandparents are from Grenada! Not only that, he’s so good that they’ve hailed him as the Tiger Woods of Formula One.His debut race he finished third, only the fourteenth driver to finish on the podium on his debut. Even more astounding, he recently eclipsed Bruce McLaren to become the youngest driver ever to lead the world championship. Read more about him here.
