Antiguan named head soccer coach

Deno Merrick, a native of Willikies Village in Antigua and Barbuda was named the new head men’s and women’s soccer coach for Missouri Baptist University in an announcement by Director of Athletics for that institution Thomas Smith. Being assistant coach for the past two years, Merrick said of the challenge:
“I hope that I can carry on the tradition of success with the men’s team and bring some success and stability to the women’s team.”
